Family Law is the emotionally charged area of law that deals with family relationships. This includes relationships with spouses, children, grandparents, stepparents, step siblings, and domestic partners. The term “Family Law” is sometimes used interchangeably with “Divorce Law” but many people refer to family law when the case involves family members outside of a divorce situation.
